We want to introduce you all to Paiton Moon. Paiton is joining our team to help with our blogging and social media. Paiton is the youngest of John and Jennifer’s 5 children. She is in her 2nd year at IUPUI and is attending the Kelly School of Business with a major in Marketing and a minor in Non-Profit Management. She also works at the REI store in Indianapolis. Make sure to say hello to her if you are there while she is working.
When not in school and at work Paiton loves everything outdoors. Especially camping and hiking. She has summited two 14ers in Colorado, Quandary Peak and Gray’s Peak, with her family. She is looking forward to experiencing a back country canoe trip to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota this June. She is quite the writer and loves to journal. You can follow her personal blog HERE. She is very artistic and enjoys painting, drawing and sculpting as well as playing her ukulele and singing. She has a heart for service and has been on a mission trip to Haiti, which was a very rewarding experience. Paiton is very drawn to helping others and making an impact.
We are very excited to have Paiton join us!
We had a great time with Jenna and Kyle for their engagement photos, which were taken at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and downtown at Lockerbie and a few at The Alexander Hotel. We will be filming and photographing their wedding in July. We will also be filming and producing a Same Day Edit for Jenna and Kyle to be show at their reception. Engagement sessions are fun because it is a great warm up to how we shoot and interact with our couples, plus we get to see their personalties surface. We are looking forward to their wedding in July.
It was the perfect fall day for Christopher and Lia’s Traders Point Creamery wedding. Lia and the girls got ready in The Roost at Traders Point Creamery which over looked the lawn and garden area where they were setting up the ceremony. It was so fun seeing the progress of not only the girls getting ready but the progress of the ceremony site. Autumn of Isibeal Studio is so amazingly talented and watching the progress of her magic coming alive for the wedding is awe inspiring. I absolutely loved that Lia wore her mom’s wedding dress and had her grandmother’s diamond. It was so special for them.
Chris and the guys got ready downtown at the Westin. Once they arrived at Traders Point Creamery it was time for the first look. I am sure you will absolutely love their first look. The dock at the pond was the perfect location. Seeing how nervous Christopher was prior to the first look then how calm he got as soon as he saw her was magic.
The ceremony was beautiful and having Lia’s childhood youth pastor marry them made this ceremony extra special for them. This was the first time I have seen the braiding of the rope. This will be a beautiful piece hung in their home for a constant reminder of the commitment they have made to each other and keeping God in their marriage.
The Barn at Traders Point Creamery was beautifully decorated and of course Autumn’s floral design and the candles made it so romantic. The music of The Impalas had everyone danced the night away. Thanks to The Impalas for letting us plug into their board for the audio of the speeches.
We love working with our friends Cory + Jackie. We always know it will be an amazing day when we get to work together. And a special thanks to my friend Brian for coming and filming with me.
