Here is a little sneak peek wedding trailer from Nick and Katey’s wedding. It was such a beautiful wedding day. We started out at The Conrad Hotel for getting ready then the first look in the magnificat Kite Suite. Then we were off to the infamous Circle for photos before the ceremony. The ceremony took place at Christ Church Cathedral also on the Circle. After the ceremony we went down to Mass Ave for some fun bridal party photos. We ended the day back at The Conrad Hotel for the reception. The day was so much fun not only because we were working with some of our favorite friendors, but because this couple, their family and friends made it a blast to film. We hope you enjoyed this teaser. We can’t wait to jump into editing their wedding film.

Alex and Rachel’s Canal 337 wedding was absolutely perfect. With a very rainy week leading up to the big day, the forecast seemed to keep changing every minute. When I woke up that morning and saw how dark and rainy it was I just kept praying it would pass. While they were not having an outdoor wedding, I do love being able to get outside in natural light during their photo sessions. I also didn’t want their surprise reception entrance to get rained out.
We stared the day off with the girls at the salon getting their hair and makeup done. The atmosphere as the girls were getting ready was so fun. At this point it was still raining, but just as it was time to head to Canal 337, the skies dried up and blue sky was emerging through the dark thick clouds.
It was just a hop skip and a jump over to Canal 337 where the girls finished up getting ready for the wedding. Alex and his groomsmen arrived all ready to go. As our luck would have it, it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day for their pre ceremony photo session. It was such a beautiful ceremony with a lot of heartfelt moments and moments of laughter. I love how their minister really personalized their ceremony and honored their families.
Alex and Rachel decided not to have a first look before the ceremony (which I do love just as much as a first look) we headed out around the canal for a little photo fun with the bridal party then just Alex and Rachel. What they didn’t know was we were making our way toward a gondola waiting for them to take them back to their cocktail hour. When they did their engagement photos Rachel had asked if they could get in one for a photo and she was told no. She was reliving the story as we got closer and jokingly asked if they could get in for a photo and was shocked with they said yes. Then was even more surprised when they said it was theirs waiting to take them for a ride. I love all the cheering from their wedding guests as they arrived back at Canal 337.
The rest of the evening was spectacular with an amazing dinner and dancing to one of our favorite bands. Thank you Alex and Rachel for having us film your wedding day and create your film for you to watch for years to come.
